Let me introduce you to a woman's experience at the gym.

The "going to the gym" experience starts long before I actually step into a gym. It starts with contemplating the necessity of going at all. Do I really need to haul myself to a gym, strain my body and be sore for days afterwards? More often than not, the answer is yes. Then, I think about what time of the day it is. I avoid going to the gym when it is packed with men, mainly after work hours.

Then, I move into contemplating my outfit. As in any other moment, I want to be comfortable and look good -- for myself. But, I must weigh the line between being sexy and being sexualized. I also have to question...

6 Easy Moves to Make in Your 30s That Will Pay Off Huge Later On

If you’re in your thirties, odds are your financial situation is a mixed bag. On the one hand, maybe you’ve settled into your career and built a little nest egg. At the same time, you might be juggling student loans, a mortgage, and childcare.

Look at the bright side: You still have time on your side (albeit not as much as you had in your twenties). So even small moves can make a huge difference long-term. Here are six moves you can make now that will pay big dividends down the road:

Suge Knight’s Lawyer Slams ‘Straight Outta Compton’ as ‘Exaggerated and Silly’

“Straight Outta Compton” shattered box office records and won rave reviews over the weekend, but not everyone is buying what the movie had to sell.

Attorney Thomas Mesereau, who represents Marion “Suge” Knight, says Universal’s N.W.A biopic falsely portrays the fallen hip-hop mogul as a troublemaker who uses his fists to resolve business disputes.

“I’m sure he wouldn’t like it because a lot of it is exaggerated and silly and ridiculous,” Mesereau told TheWrap Monday, on behalf of his client who is unable to see the film because he is sitting in a Los Angeles jail cell.

In the drama, which debuted with a massive $60.2 million at the box office, Knight is portrayed by R. Marcus Taylor, who bears a striking resemblance to the bodyguard-turned-music industry executive.

67 Steps To Getting Anything You Want Out Of Life: Health, Wealth, Love, & Happiness…

There is a certain pleasure in knowing that it is not impossible to get what you want out of life.

Advertisers know this. When you browse the internet or walk past a magazine rack you are tempted with headlines that promise:

“3 Steps To Becoming Rich”

Or “How To Lose 30 pounds in 14 days”

Or “2 Quick Secrets To Find Your Soulmate and Love This Weekend”

Or even,“How To Go From Depressed To Happy, Overnight”

Most of those promises are just a hook to get you to buy something. They lure you in but rarely hold up their end of the deal. These four subjects (health, wealth, love, and happiness) are appealing to us precisely because they are the raw ingredients we need to live the good life. But in my experience, getting the good life isn’t quite that simple. You must avoid chasing a mirage, the lies of modern day life (that is actually step #32 in the 67 Steps). There are no “3 quick secrets” or anything of real value that you can get overnight. That’s what marketers want to sell you.

The real question I asked myself many years ago was, “If there aren’t 3 steps to get whatever you want, how many steps really are there? And if you can’t get success overnight, how quickly can you actually make a big change?”

Your success in life hinges upon you finding the answer to these questions. In some ways the answer has already been laid out by the self-made billionaire Charlie Munger when he said, “To get what you want, you have to deserve what you want. The world is not yet a crazy enough place to reward a whole bunch of undeserving people.“ The 67 Steps are not a get-rich-quick scheme, although I am sure they can make you richer than you’ve ever imagined. The 67 Steps will not make you lose 30 pounds overnight, although you can use them to get in the best shape of your life. The 67 Steps will not bring you a soul mate or rekindle your love life in 24 hours, But as Dr. Helen Fisher teaches, we are attracted to people on our level and as the 67 Steps raises your level, the quality of love you attract will rise accordingly.John F. Kennedy was right, "A rising tide lifts all boats."

Start by asking yourself: do you tap dance out of bed each morning? Are you so excited about life that you can't wait to wake up? Not many people are. But it would be nice. I have been mentored by people who live life like this; great men like Joel Salatin and Allan Nation. It's a beautiful way to live. It sounds like an impossible feat - to really live the dream. Like I said in my recent TED Talk, everybody wants the good life, but not everybody gets the good life. The good news is that you don't have to be like everyone else. You can be the exception to the rule. As Thoreau wrote in Walden Pond: “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation. What is called resignation is confirmed desperation."But if you proceed carefully you will not be part of those desperate masses.

You must start by following Pablo Picasso’s rule of life: "Never permit a dichotomy to rule your life, a dichotomy in which you hate what you do so you can have pleasure in your spare time. Look for a situation in which your work will give you as much happiness as your spare time."

Joel Salatin told me the same thing, “If you have to go on a vacation from your job, never come back.” There is no need to compromise. You can find whatever it is that you want from life. For you, maybe it’s becoming a millionaire, or getting the perfect body, or falling madly in love, or waking up each morning feeling alive and optimistic. But you won’t find it if you are looking in the same places as everyone else. Don't follow the crowd, because most of the world is just the blind leading the blind. Fortunately, there have been many wise people over the last 8,000 years of civilization. And they point the way. They have left clues. But can these clues really be mapped out or is it just the old causation vs. correlation argument? Is there a pattern? I think there is. Throughout history, a handful of people have found out how to live an extraordinary life. These 67 Steps I am about to share with you now are my attempt to lay out this success ‘blueprint’.

Wiith Is The App That Helps You Meet New Friends

They say true friendship is when you walk into someone’s house and the WiFi connects automatically. So how often does that happen to you? Is it time to find some new friends? It happens. People move, eras end and new ones begin, people change, the world changes… stuff happens. But having some great friends around can make life better; having people to do things with and talk to, knowing someone will be there for you when something goes wrong… you know the deal. But sometimes finding new friends isn’t very easy — even for easy-going, extroverted people (especially when moving to a new city and finding oneself overwhelmed with a new job, moving in, getting oriented, etc.).

But now there’s Wiith—an app that helps you meet new friends.

Wiith revolves around having users create — and join — nearby events which are typically small and more intimately sized. The events can be either preplanned or spur of the moment, but the organizer gets to decide who joins. Even creators can also invite specific users to attend their event, including people they already know.

There’s really nothing like Wiith out there. One of Wiith’s closests competitors would be Meetup, which tends to be too orchestrated and impersonal for someone just out to find a new friend or two. There’s also no cost with Wiith. Tinder, on the other hand, is purely about dating.

HALO 5 Guardians

Not much info was given about the story at E3 2015, other than what we could learn from the footage shown. We only got to see things from Locke's standpoint, but it appears the Covenant is finally falling apart, as the Spartans mentions that the Arbiter is leading a charge to free a city.

Along with this, we saw that Fireteam Osiris was fighting the Prometheans again. We also learn that Master Chief was searching for a Guardian, who he seems to find. It is implied the Guardian is a Promethean, and when Fireteam Osiris shows up, they are told that the Prometheans gave Master Chief passage, but are refusing to help Locke and his crew.

‘The View’ Crew Defends Elisabeth Hasselbeck Over Sandra Bland Cigarette Question (Video)

Whoopi Goldberg and her cohorts on “The View” rushed to the aid of former co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on Wednesday’s episode, defending her against charges of racism.

Hasselbeck, who exited “The View” in 2013 and currently appears on Fox News, has come under fire for a question regarding Sandra Bland, who was found dead in her Texas jail cell three days after being arrested during a routine traffic stop. Hasselbeck pondered whether Bland’s cigarette could have been used a weapon against the arresting officer, prompting many to brand Hasselbeck, known as a conservative voice on “The View,” as racist. Goldberg was quick to dispel that notion, contending that Hasselbeck was doing her job as a journalist. “Somehow, suddenly, it is no longer OK to pose a question that will give you an answer in order to best understand what’s going on,” Goldberg marveled.

ROLLING A JOINT? KID STUFF. GETTING HIGH, THE GROWN-UP WAY

Linda Sands, a San Francisco mother who asked that I not use her real name, went on a resort vacation with her family this summer and took along a packet of THC-infused gummy candies. Each evening during the proverbial cocktail hour, the 35-year-old lawyer went to her room and sliced off a tiny wedge of the lozenge-shaped gummy, waited 20 minutes, then enjoyed the mildly soothing effects. She described them as in the same league as "half a beer." Neither her three-year old son, nor anybody else, was the wiser.

"Smoking just has a stigma attached to it," she says. "With edibles, there’s no smell, no ashtray, no standing outside."

Sands’s experience is becoming more common. Vaporizing is on the rise as a healthier and more discreet alternative to smoking. And some people are even getting into "dabbing"—the trend of inhaling ultra-high sticky cannabis extract that’s been melted into vapor. But the numbers from Colorado show that the way to many peoples’ hearts is still through their stomachs—edibles currently account for as much as half of all cannabis-related sales in Colorado. Surveys show that many of those buyers are new or casual users, looking for a low-barrier-to-entry method of consuming pot: one that doesn’t require special equipment, won’t put them in compromising situations in front of their kids, and can even be easily stowed in luggage without looking suspicious.

Things Men Tell Women Translated To Their Real Meanings

Chart: Drugs Kill Young

Drugs don’t just kill nearly 39,000 Americans each year—they kill them young. That’s the grim takeaway of a new chart by drug treatment website withdrawal.net, which plots the number of Americans killed by various drugs with their average age at death. As the chart shows, drug overdoses kill more people than car crashes, suicide, HIV, and many types of cancer. People who die of drug overdoses are also younger than people who die of these other causes, with the average age at death of a drug overdose victim at about 39. The average American lives to about 79, which means that drug overdoses claim 40 years of life per victim, or 1.56 million years of life cumulatively each year, according to estimates from withdrawal.net. Drug overdose death rates have been rising for more than two decades, though causes not depicted in this chart, like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, still kill many more Americans.
